The primary project strategies involve:
The target population for this intervention includes AANHPI populations in California. After the first project year, it is anticipated that the intervention will be scaled up and replicated on a national level.
The project will use both qualitative and quantitative data to assess the effectiveness of the intervention. The project has identified process measures that align with particular intervention strategies/practices and anticipated outcomes. For example, the number or percentage of individuals who express increased awareness and knowledge of health disparities will be used to assess the effectiveness of implementing the WC training curricula. The anticipated outcome of this strategy is increased awareness of the significant health disparities of underserved AANHPIs and the actions necessary to improve these health outcomes.
