Advisory Committee on Minority Health - Committee Members

Cynthia M. Mojica, PhD

Dr. Mojica has an extensive background conducting health services research in cancer prevention and control among ethnic minority and underserved populations, and in collaboration with health centers and community-based organizations. She also is conducting research to prevent childhood obesity among Hispanic families. Dr. Mojica has held leadership positions in the Latino Caucus of the American Public Health Association and was appointed to the Diversity Committee in UTHSCSA’s School of Medicine. She is recipient of the W.K. Kellogg Fellowship in Health Policy Research and the Ruth L. Kirschstein National Service Research Award from the National Cancer Institute.
