Dr. Gregory J. Maddox II is an enrolled member of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma. He currently works as a primary care physician at Overlake Medical Clinic with a focus on underserved populations and addiction medicine.

He was previously chief medical officer for the Seattle Indian Health Board, where he focused on healthcare integration between behavioral health services and medical services with an emphasis on incorporating culturally appropriate care for urban American Indians and Alaska Natives. He holds a clinical faculty appointment at the University of Washington School of Medicine, where he instructs medical students through a 2-year primary care practicum. Dr. Maddox has guest lectured on Urban Indian Health Organizations and serves as a mentor at the Indian Health Pathway at the University of Washington.
