If you are organizing a Conference for Local Providers, it would be a great idea to pair this with a Professional Day of Service or Professional Volunteer Day, the day before or after the conference.

This would be a health fair of sorts but fully staffed by doctors and nurses. It will target women and men of childbearing age. The attendees will come to have a basic check-up with doctors and nurses for free, and enroll, if eligible, on public programs. They will receive substantial information regarding pre and inter-conception health, as well as prenatal care, if they are already expecting.

It would be ideal to have them all conduct a brief Preconception Health Assessment (you can download it here) and for the providers to make recommendations according to that assessment.
