The Office of Minority Health Resource Center (OMHRC) is participating in the 2007-2008 HIV/AIDS Collaborative Regional Trainings Planning Committee of the Indian Health Services (IHS)' Division of Behavioral Health.

In support of the IHS Director's three health initiatives (Health Promotion/Disease Prevention, Management of Chronic Disease, and Behavioral Health), the Division of Behavioral Health is sponsoring four HIV/AIDS Collaborative Regional Trainings and one HIV/AIDS Traditional Service Providers Summit in 2008.

The Office of Minority Health Resource Center joins this collaboration in an advisory capacity with the Indian Health Service, the Office of Urban Indian Health Programs, the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, the National Institute of Health, the Office of AIDS Research, the Health Resources and Services Administration, and the National Minority AIDS Education and Training Center.
