Mission: To promote advocacy, collaboration and leadership that improves the health status and access of Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians and Pacific Islanders within the United States, its territories and freely associated states, primarily through our member community health clinics.
The National Clearinghouse for Alcohol and Drug Information (NCADI)
Mission: NCADI is the information service of the Center for Substance Abuse Prevention of the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration in the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services. NCADI is the world's largest resource for current information and materials concerning substance abuse. NCADI recognizes Asian Pacific Islander heritage month.
The Asian Pacific American Institute for Congressional Studies (APAICS) 
Mission: APAICS, formerly the Congressional Asian Pacific American Caucus Institute, was established in 1995 as the only national, non-partisan, pan-Asian American organization dedicated to increasing the participation of Asian Pacific Americans in public policy and the political process. APAICS, Yahoo!, A. Magazine, Asian Week, and ABCFLASH are proud to bring you the following site in celebration of APA Heritage Month.
Asian & Pacific Islander American Health Forum (APIAHF) 
Mission: APIAHF is a national advocacy organization dedicated to promoting policy, program and research efforts for the improvement of health status of all Asian American and Pacific Islander communities.
The Pacific Islanders' Cultural Association (PICA) 
Mission: PICA was formed in 1995 as an umbrella organization, to meet the common needs of all Pacific islanders in Northern California. It is comprised of many interested volunteers and members of numerous clubs rooted in the wide range of interests including outrigger canoes, music, dance, language, history, folk arts, foods, athletics, etc. Their mission is to develop and perpetuate through education the histories, cultures and traditions of all Pacific islanders.
Asian and Pacific Islander Wellness Center (A&PIWC) 
Mission: A&PIWC works to educate, support, empower and advocate for Asian & Pacific Islander (A&PI) communities -- particularly A&PIs living with or at-risk for HIV/AIDS.
Asian Pacific AIDS Intervention Team (APAIT) 
Mission: The Mission of the Asian Pacific AIDS Intervention Team is to educate about HIV/AIDS infection and to provide hope, support, advocacy and resources for women and men of all Asian Pacific Islander communities, persons living with HIV, their families and loved ones. APAIT emphasizes the importance and availability of HIV testing, early intervention and treatment for HIV-related diseases.
The project is designed to be culturally and linguistically appropriate for the Asian and Pacific Islander communities targeting Cambodian, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Pilipino, Samoan, South Asian(Gujerati, Hindi and Urdu traditions), Thai Tongan and Vietnamese - including populations of gay/bisexual men, youth, women and transgender persons.
Asian Health Services Online (AHSO) 
Mission: To serve and advocate for the immigrant and refugee Asian community regarding its health rights, and to assure access to health care services regardless of income, insurance status, language, or culture.
