Infant Mortality and Asians and Pacific Islanders

  • Among Asian/Pacific Islanders, Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) is the fourth leading cause of infant mortality.
  •  Asian/Pacific Islanders women generally have lower infant mortality rates than the overall population, however statistics for Asian Amarican subgroups are very limited for this topic.
