The Office of Minority Health (OMH) of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has existed for more than twenty years. The office advises the Secretary and the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Health on public health program activities affecting American Indians and Alaska Natives, Asian Americans, Blacks/African Americans, Hispanics/Latinos, Native Hawaiians and other Pacific Islanders.
