Office of Minority Health (OMH)
The Office of Minority Health (OMH) of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has existed for more than twenty years. The office advises the Secretary and the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Health on public health program activities affecting American Indians and Alaska Natives, Asian Americans, Blacks/African Americans, Hispanics/Latinos, Native Hawaiians and other Pacific Islanders.

Office of Minority Health Resource Center (OMHRC)
The Resource Center is a multifaceted source for health professionals, community and faith-based organizations and consumers. It maintains an extensive database and library on minority health issues including cancer, cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, homicides, suicide, unintentional injuries, HIV/AIDS, substance abuse, cultural competency, infant mortality, and a host of others.
