The Affordable Care Act Resource Kit
The Affordable Care Act Resource Kit has been developed to guide activities that will improve opportunities for health care access and coverage as part of efforts by the National Partnership for Action to End Health Disparities (NPA). The main audience for this Kit is NPA partners, Regional Health Equity Councils, and other affiliate organizations interested in conducting ACA outreach and facilitating enrollment in Health Insurance Marketplaces. The Kit provides basic information and a directory of links to resources that may be referenced or distributed during conferences, trainings, project planning and community events. Promoting Health Equity through Sexual Orientation Inclusion Work at the University of Colorado School of Medicine

For more than 25 years, Regina Richards has been spearheading diversity and inclusion efforts within the University of Colorado. A community social worker by trade, Ms. Richards now serves as the Director of Diversity at the University of Colorado Medical School, where she implements culturally responsive programs for diverse students, including students that identify as Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer/Questioning, Intersex, and Asexual (LGBTQIA). Additionally, she serves on the Mountain States Regional Health Equity Council, which aims to reduce health disparities in Colorado, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Utah and Wyoming.
